39 students signed up this year for the LAYL program sponsored by JJAB and Leadership Los Alamos.  The students broke up into 4 teams:  Las Conquistadores, XTC (Extremely Cool), A-Squad, and B.A.M.F.  They have the support of over 10 adult leaders to assist them throughout the year on their projects.  During the two-day workshop with Sean Hall, with On the Edge Productions, the students learned leadership skills, how to resolve conflicts and increase their confidence, how to build better relationships with family and friends, and they also participated in outdoor team challenge activities.
