Meet the Resource Specialists

Tara Adams, LBSW

Tara joined JJAB in August 2019 after completing a one-year college internship with our organization, building on her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Western New Mexico University. Tara works primarily with elementary aged children and their families and has a deep commitment to working with families that have experienced serious adversity and are dealing with intersecting issues. Tara is well versed in trauma-informed practice, parent coaching, and advocacy, and is especially skilled in exploring new resources and systems. Tara’s biggest hobby is gardening; her backyard is a Certified Wildlife Habitat!

Christine Martinez, BSW

Christine has been working with high school youth at JJAB since August of 2017, and in the past 3+ years has shown her deep commitment to enthusiastic and compassionate support for her clients and their families. Christine has a Bachelor of Social Work degree from New Mexico State University and is a certified One Circle Facilitator. Christine loves roller skating and is part of a roller derby team.

Rachel Mohr-Richards, Lead Resource Specialist

Rachel oversees the Resource Specialist program in addition to working with elementary and middle school youth and their families. She joined JJAB in February 2020 and has a Bachelor of Psychology and Child Development degree with a minor in Family Studies. Rachel’s expertise includes case management and organizational development. She feels most successful when she can help families address barriers in creative and innovative ways. Rachel enjoys travel (she went on her first international trip to England in 2017), Pilates, and Tiramisu!

Dianna Reichelt
Dianna is the newest addition to the Resource Specialist team and will be working predominately with middle school youth. Dianna brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to the Resource Specialist program, having worked directly with clients in various case management agencies, directed Los Alamos YMCA’s Reach and Rise mentorship program, and, most recently, served as the Member Services Director at the Y. She also has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Adams State College in Colorado. Dianna is passionate about working with youth because they are our future. She wants to provide supports and connections so that they can grow into adults that will make positive changes that ensure the world is a better place for all of us. Dianna is an emerging Formula 1 racing fanatic and in her spare time can be found in the bleachers enthusiastically cheering on her son at his football games
