Youth Mental Health First Aid Classes (for Adults)

Free class designed for adults who regularly interact with young people, ages 10-18. The online course will have participants complete a self-paced two-hour training, following by a four-hour remote learning session. During the remote learning session, facilitators Danielle Sutherland and Georgina Whittemore will introduce common mental health challenges, review typical adolescent development, and teach a 5-step action plan for how to help in both crisis and non-crisis situations.  Click here for more information on the course.  Once registered participants will receive connection information, approximately one week prior to the remote learning session, for the self-paced, two hour portion.  That portion of the training must be completed prior to participating in the remote learning session.

2020 remote learning sessions will be held 8:30 am - 12:30 pm:         Click here to register
